EVALUATION OF DRYER Mechanical & process review of used environmental thermal soil desorber for alternative use as crushed minerals dryer. Material handling and thermal requirements determined and evaluated against equipment capabilities. Original fabricator located to assist with evaluating physical condition and cost/feasibility to refurbish. TROUBLESHOOTING OF LANDFILL LEACHATE DRYER CARRYOVER THIN FILM EVAPORATOR Presented "how to" for thin film evaporation used in solvent recovery from a plastics resin process. Engineering presentation and explanation of this important unit operation led to first major process improvement in 30 years for this facility. Assisted in selection/purchase of used system at substantial savings and 1 week delivery for major midwest plastics company. OIL FIELD DRYER Designed and sized drying system for South American oil field services company to dry drilling muds and to recover the water for reuse. PHARMACEUTICAL DRYING, PNEUMATIC TRANSPORT, AND PACKAGING SYSTEM Performed process and detail design engineering; and provided oversight of specifications, drawings, and installation. Supervised drying pilot test and worked with equipment vendor to locate/expedite testing and delivery for fast track market driven bulk powder plant expansion. LUBE OIL RECOVERY PROCESS Provided design engineering and assistance in selection of used high temperature thin film evaporator system to a Midwest used oil collection company. System was designed to produce distillate fuel oil cut from used oil. Located used equipment and assisted in expediting delivery. |
